Your pathway through the centre

    We review your referral within five working days.

  2. First consultation

    A cardiologist and a genetic counsellor see you together.

  3. Diagnosis and plan

    We discuss findings and agree the next steps with you.

    We collect your history and previous investigations.

    Investigations

    ECG, imaging and, where useful, genetic testing.

    Multidisciplinary review

    Your case is discussed by the full team.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral?

Yes. Your cardiologist or GP can refer you to our centre.

Will my family need testing?

Sometimes. We discuss family screening during your visit.

Do I keep my own cardiologist?

Yes. We add to your care; treatment stays with your own doctor wherever possible.
